Ye Olde Town Inn owner, Tod Curtis receives A Lifeline for A Lifetime Award from the United Relief Foundation for his generous contribution to the organization's Humanitarian Aid Initiatives.  Present the Award is United Relief Foundation Co-Founder Frank Slove.

Tod Curtis, a former U.S. Marine, is also the recipient of the Rotary International Paul Harris Award and Lions Foundation of Illinois Fellowship Award

Tod Curtis has personally donated to and used his Ye Olde Town Inn restaurant to bring awareness and raise money for organizations including the Mount Prospect United Way, Jaycees, Rotary and Lions; as well as offered and participated in programs for Mount Prospect residents which include 55 plus club, Mount Prospect senior activities, Mount Prospect Hometown Days and other downtown merchants promotions.

Hurricane Katrina Relief effort: Tod Curtis donated his time and aircraft, and paid for fuel, lodging and miscellaneous expenses to fly relief donations from Illinois (Palwaukee/Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling) to Louisiana then flew to Georgia back to Louisiana with additional relief supplies; and returned to Illinois with two Katrina victims to reunite them with their families taking refuge in Illinois.
